To rent or not to rent…
The real estate guy came over last night. He was cool…nice guy. He let us know that houses in our area with our square footage are going for about $1000 a month. That would be a *nice* supplement to our mortgage while we’re gone. He said that we should be able to get someone in quickly because of the proximity to the schools and the nice area. We decided against allowing pets and that we’ll probably throw in lawn service to keep the yard looking nice per the HOA restrictions. We were even thinking about leaving the furniture, but we’ve got to look into storage prices. We have to get storage anyways for the cars…I mean, we have THREE cars. We have to put them somewhere. I’d like to just sell mine and use the cash to pay some bills (Or even buy me a first class ticket over there….hehehehe). We don’t have a car note now, and we should have tons if not all our debt paid off. So maybe I can get a new car (pre-owned of course) when we get back. It doesn’t really matter to me though. I just don’t want to sell the two Mustangs. I have no attachment to the Saturn.
I got the whole house cleaned last night. Well, straightened up. I need to vaccuum every room, sweep all the floors and mop. And clean the showers and toilets. But everything else is nice and clean.
